Totally sensible reaction. The dog won't even smell the same for a few days if it's been shampooed.

My ex-husband couldn't see a friend in a slightly crowded room because the friend had shaved off his beard; my brother-in-law shaved off his beard when he cough chicken pox, leaving his mustache. On his return to work to his utter confusion, a number of colleagues said "You've grown a 'tasche! "
