I'm fed up with the forecast! We should have had some much needed rain but haven't had a drop although 25 miles awry the roads were flooded. If we don't get the forecast rain tonight I'll have to water my raised veg beds tomorrow.

Same here, no proper rain for weeks, although nearby areas get a little bit more. At least we’re not getting the really high temperatures that are happening all the way up from Africa to the Arctic Circle just now.

That's true. I'm not a huge fan of too much heat. Anything over 20C, and I don't cope very well!

I can cope with it being hot Lady A as long as it isn't humid - when that happens I'm a walking puddle!

We did get some rain last night and the depth of the beds mean they don't dry out quickly so the watering has been put off for another day!

Hot? Chance would be a fine thing in the outer Hebs. Only just into double figures here, and rains nearly every day. Be careful what you wish for!

A lot of us decided that a nice open prison would be fine, we picked one in Suffolk on the coast where they have hens, and breed Suffolk Punch horses, it would be a lot cheaper than living at home
