All 3 of mine laid yesterday - the first time they all managed it since November.

They both look lovely in their new finery. Skye is like my Izzie who is now in her 8th year.

Thank you. We got our girls in 2019 so they are now in their third year and still laying well. They produce an egg each most days and take it in turns the other days although it's difficult to tell now that Skye has started producing brown eggs!

This cropped up on my Facebook feed, and although I think I may have posted it before, it still had me in tears of laughter, I thought you might enjoy it too.

This is from the 1930s. I scored myself as 15 demerits and 5 merits, giving a score of -5, off the scale for being a terrible wife.
Strange, really, since this year will be our Diamond Wedding anniversary. Husband must be a masochist, I suppose.

‘Doesn’t like children’ only applies to wives.

I was working on the basis of all merits and no demerits, but it means neither of them would reach the really positive sounding scores.

Well if the wife wasn't there she wouldn't know about it would she unless of course a "kind friend" told her!
