Cheery Pics

I don't usually laugh at other's misfortunes (except politicians and rabid dictators) but ...

Love it as well being a fellow Trekkie, I laughed out loud when I saw it

I remember going shopping in MK about 15 years ago, we saw this fat bloke in a leather jacket flanked by minders stomping into the shopping centre. It was William Shatner during the time when he was on his uppers, he went behind a screen and on the screen was a piece off paper that stated that an autograph was 25 quid. There weren't many takers by the looks of it, but I was later told that he had been there on the Friday and Saturday too. The Allo Allo cast members were doing a roaring trade mind you, though I think their autographs could be had for a fiver.

I remember a friend of ours had a certain famous ice skater as a neighbour and asked if she would do the honours at the local handicapped school fete. The price she charged would have been more than they took at the fete.
Barbara Windsor was suggested, price nothing. In her words "it's for charity and I'm hardly a bleeding charity chase who needs money am I"

Sorry to say that I wouldn’t have fully fulfilled the description of a desirable wife, although ‘of any reasonable height”!

These girls, enjoying a bit of sunshine, although it remained very cold and frosty all day. They are over 2 years old now, and are the best batch of hens I've ever had. Never had so much as a dirty bum between them, and still getting 3 or 4 eggs a day. The only health issue any of them have had, was one slipped off the ramp one wet day, and she limped for 3 or 4 days.

Just booked one of these for next year. It was developed in Hope Valley, the place I lived for most of my adult life. Must be getting sentimental in my old age! The breed is called the Whitefaced Woodland.
