I think a new forum or website is always a bit strange at first, at least I always find them so. It's a bit like driving a new car - when we last got a different (not new) one, kindly passed on to us by our daughter, it seemed to have an awful lot of gears, 6 instead of 5, the gears were all sort of tight and didn't slide into each other. I couldn't get into reverse without nearly wrenching my arm off, and reverse was in the wrong place, diagonally opposite to where it ought to have been, all up in the air somewhere beyond First, so I was never sure if I was going to move backwards or forwards. Worst of all, the car was really bossy, flashed and squealed if you hadn't done up your seat belt, bolted you in with central locking as you drove off down the road at 10mph, and screamed with fear when you reversed too near to the side of the garage. I spent so much time nervously watching the display that told me what gear I should be in, that my driving was even more erratic than usual. It was nearly a year before I stopped mourning the demise of my elderly Ford Focus with the sloppy gears and tolerant nature. However, in time I got the hang of it all, and I hope you won't take so long as that to find your way around on here!
