Hi I am a new keeper of ducks, I live in the South West of France and married recently, a very kind guest had heard that I wanted to keep ducks and gave us two as a wedding present. However we have yet to find out which breed they are, since then I purchased a few day old ducklings again I am unable to match the breed, I have attached some pics taken yesterday Saturday 20/09/2014 just after a storm and the ducks look a little muddy but they are all white normally. If anyone can give me a hint as to what they may be I would be most grateful. You can reply to me using my private email, [email protected]
Thank you in advance for any insight you may have
Kind regards

Hiya new duck owner :)

I can't see your pictures for some reason...... wondering if your ducks are Muscovy crosses which are quite common in France as they are used as meat/foie gras ducks..... perhaps you could point me in the direction of your photos?

thanks will try and upload them again, basically without the pics they are white with a spot or so of black around the top of the head. The ducks that seem heavy bodied rather low to the ground creamy orange beaks with like an upside down v in orange will try to upload another picture thank your for your response.
