Hello,

I have 4 hybrid layers and they lay the typical light brown eggs. one of the chickens is now laying white or white with a hint of pink eggs.

is this a problem?

The colour of the eggs do lighten the more the hen lays, as they begin to run out of pigment. It's not usually something to worry about. As long as they are eating, drinking and their poop is normal - just enjoy the difference I say! :)

We've got a 2 year old Wyandotte that has just started laying again. But the eggs are almost white instead of pinky brown. Just been wormed and very healthy so I can't see it's a problem at all. Adds a bit of variety to the boxes of eggs we sell.

Just sold two dozen and haven't put the signs out today! Just callers on the off-chance we had a few or had forgotten the signs. Both previous customers obviously.
