Hi all, I am a new member and hope someone can help with my query. We have raised 4 geese this year from goslings, first time and loving them. We bought grey utility, I believe a cross between Toulouse and White utility, as they are destined for the freezer. We will definitely want to do this again and probably a slightly larger flock. It would make sense to us to have a breeding pair in future. Are our grey utility fertile and able to breed or should we be looking for pure strain birds? We have, we believe, one male and three female geese at present. Having put the effort into keeping them tame I would keep a pair from them if it were viable.
