So cute! Delighted you had a successful hatch!

You just wait until they start following you about and screeching at the top of their voices- you'll be cursing me

PJ----are you sure they are some form of chicken?? They are showing a bit of feather and are more mature than my chicks of 1 week! Are they Emu in disguise? ------only joking but they really are big healtjhy bouncers!Ros

They do feather up quickly don't they! Are they looking like frizzles or smoothies? :)

---I think there are 4 frizzled and 3 plain--but that may yet change, they are not quite as obvious as when the frizzled pekins first get feathers. Upadates for PJ on this one to follow! Ros

Oh what a lovely chick.. does look huge though, looks like its going to have one hell of a pompom! :D

Hi bobblettes mum. Really lovely. Are these pure bred chamois polish? At the moment I am getting crests in all shapes and sizes from my mixture , so wondered what pure bred crests should look like. Does the size of the crest vary? And is the largest in the chick always the largest in the adult do you know? I think you are doing sterling work breeding all these lovely little 'pedigree' chicks. Congratulations on your hatch.

Hi Animartco---- i am really more of a step-mother--- the eggs were begged/pleaded/stolen etc from Phebojuno having seen the lovely pics of her Poland Bobble and family! I have never hatched them before so I cant answer your questions--hope she will be along to answer for you. They are cuties , now, when I go out into the barn ,they rush to front of the run and stand in a line at the front staring at me to see if I have any goodies for them! They are already pretty independant to Broody Mum --just using her really as a sofa! There are defo 4 frizzle and 3 plain feathered - they are not like any other bantam I have hatched before! Ros :-)11
