Bereaved Fudge has a new Friend

Hi,

Here's a happy ending......

We introduced a new friend, Florrie, yesterday. Had to weigh up pros and cons of quarantining the new girl, as didn't want Fudge sinking any further. Within 2 hours of her arrival little Fudge was a changed and happy girl. They slept together cheek to cheek in their "shoebox". This morning there were a few scuffles, as I think Fudge was surprised the newcomer was still there! Fingers crossed she will enjoy a long and happy life. :D

So happy that things have worked out well for you Elmwood; must be a load off your mind that Fudge now has another little friend. Florrie is gorgeous by the way. :D
 
Thankyou everyone- yes, its a huge relief. They are getting on very well and bonding nicely. Such nice little personalities, with not an ounce of bullying or nastiness since introducing them. Think we are totally hooked on Belgiums. x

P.S. I have been asked many times since she arrived what on earth made us call her "Florrie". If anyone is wondering its short for "FLORIANA", a beautiful town in Malta,with the most beautiful gardens, flora and fauna (where we have spent many a happy visit).
