Baytril - new rules?

If the drug has not been tested on poultry, then there is no way of knowing how long that drug will stay in the system and what the dose should be. So as Foxy has said, vets need to make a judgement and advise accordingly. It'd a pity there has been Poultry Veterinary Society formed as most forms of livestock have one. A lot of issues could be resolved and more standardisation achieved.
One of the problems with drug residues is allergies and while this will only apply to a very few, it's very serious when a bad reaction does occur.
