Anybody got any experiance with barnvelder's. Got a pair of twenty six week old pullet's, just wondering if they should of started laying by now

pure breeds dont always start to lay as early as hybrids. do they look like they are ready to lay? combs going red etc?

26 weeks is not unusual for pure breeds, especially as the days are getting shorter, which could be manipulated by artificial light..
