I have chopped loads of kindling up from coop leftovers and customer jobs. It is cut into two sizes as some narrowboat stoves are very small - short 4" and standard 6". We are packing it into 20Kg feed bags and making a sign for the back door. Problem is, although the bags are 'large' by any kindling standard, how large are they? Ideally I need to know the capacity in litres. Does anyone know off-hand?

OK, brain is in gear now -too much wallpapering which I hate because nothing is simple in this house. I'm doing a room with effectively 8 walls, radiator, 3 sockets, 3 light wall fittings and some boxing. So only a couple of strips are a simple top and bottom trim.

Measured the bags and simple maths with the tops tied with string comes to 25 litres, or 35 litres to the brim. Just for anyones future reference.

I do love your problem solving Chris - more mathematical than I could manage! :geek: :-)10 :D
