Here are the latest pictures.They aren't very good, I was hoping they would stand up a bit. When the weather is a bit better will try again.
There are definite differences between the two but whether I am right in thinking Coke is a boy and Bacardi a girl, not 100%.
Coke is dead easy to handle, Bacardi isn't.
Barcardi is pretty, she has a neat round head and shorter beak, unlike Coke (Coke isn't ugly)
There does now appear to be a bit of difference in size and sometimes it does look like Bacardi's feet are a bit smaller than Coke's. Bacardi's body also looks different to Coke's. He seems longer between his wings and his tail than Bacardi does. He also does a lot more tail wagging than she does
I have never had Muscovies to compare so I am keeping my fingers crossed that Bacardi isn't a boy.
Have a feeling Tod the gosling might be a boy though. The dog got a bit close during the week and he dropped his head and hissed quite a bit. Either way he/she is looking for a new home.
