the rules are for the allotments no cockerals but i have had a couple now over the past few years and have always got away with keeping them , 2 went to a new home and then the last one i had culled as i really think someone shouted out at 5.30 am one saturday morning as he was already crowing but i cant be 100% if his crowing was the cause of the shouting but afterwards i got paranoid and figured i'd let him go before the council came down on me like a ton of bricks which upset a lot of people as he was adored by so many , funny though as i spoke to the council woman not that long ago and we was talking about it and she swore blind to me that she never had any complaints about him thing is with her shes not to be trusted , i dont mind taking him on but if it comes him finding a new home it would be nice if he could go to people i kinda know so if i know theres guys on here that breed pekins then i will happily advertise him on here first .
