i have one lone chick with a broody mum at the mo and i was worrying about her being on her own when she comes of mum but i have managed to find someone very local to me who has chicks hatching this weekend but they are polish bantams , i will collect them when they are a week old and keep them under heat until they can go out then they will live with my little lone chick so she will have friends i hope they will get one as they were the only thing i could find thats about the same age as her { peewee is a week old saturday } hehehehe called her that as shes tiny i so cant wait to get them i already have thier run area an housing sorted and whos going where and when its going to be musical runs   every other day .but i am also going to be sneaky and build yet another extension to the run { shhhhsshhhhh dont tell the council } that they can use in the winter and i can use in the spring an summer for my peas and other crops that i dont want ruined by the pigeons etc .
