I have a silkie hen about the age to come into lay. After finding a hen with some northern fowl mite on her I decided to treat them all yesterday with ivermectin. When I picked this hen up she seemed OK and her crop was full. This morning when I went to let them out this hen was very slow to react and did not come out so I went to pick her up and check her. Her crop was still full from the night before. It does not feel like an impacted or sour crop as I have had one hen that has had this before so I know what they feel like. The crop just feels normal but i has just not emptied.
On closer inspection I found that she had a slight crusty vent so I bathed her and sure enough she had some northern fowl mite on her which just as a matter of interest had not been killed by the ivermectin. She does feel very thin so im wondering if her crop has not been working properly for a while.
Treatment given so far.
Poultry Nutridrops to try and build her up
Bathed her and left in a warm dark place to dry off.

During the day she has been very lethargic and not eaten or drunk anything. I will syringe a small amount of water in her if I cant get her to drink

questions
Could she have an infection and that has stopped her crop working - I have baytril and Tylan what do you think is it worth a go
Is the crop blocked even though it does not feel like it has anything unusual going on _ I have liquid paraffin should I give it a go.
I have some louse powder should I dust her even though I gave her ivermectin last night or is that a no no
First egg laying problem - im thinking this is not likely but who knows

stumped any ideas
