Hi all,

I have been reading lots of info and advice from all your posts. Maybe I'm being really thick!? but what is ACV?

Hi there,

ACV = Apple Cider Vinegar

yes, there is lots to be said about it, and from what I've read all very very good. As a result of the benefits to be gained, I now give my girls ACV in their water for one week each month. 20ml per litre of water. Heres Tims informative link:-

Of course!! Thanks.

Actually my Mum used to give it to us when we were kids as a cure for sore throats. She mixed it with lemon and honey!

I use ACV as well i find it helps birds that might have respiratory problems as well as keeping the birds in good health condition. I also add a little bit of garlic granule's as well. You can buy ACV with garlic added but it does work out slightly more expensive than the normal version.
