A classic look

She looks soft and pillowy, and rather lovely. What is she made up of? And who is that SL chappie on the right? Great pictures, thanks for putting them up!

I'll see if I can get a group shot of them tomorrow.
Mo is a slightly off target CLB but very close - browner than the other two. Both Mo and Lulu are very patchy with pins coming through. Pom, who moulted a month ago, is now quite well feathered though she seems to have joined in the fun with a new patch on her saddle lately. The chap is Linden. It is endearing how ruffled up they are looking at the moment - and amazing to see that they only have to lose some feathers to look tiny all of a sudden!

You should be able to make their names out under the pictures.
Pom is always very stylish and a little aloof. She is off lay but when laying she has always had a very deep red comb (Pomegranate)
Mo - well! Just about looking her worst but there were no more feathers on the perches this morning so I think it should be upwards from now.
Lulu doesnt care what she looks like if there is food to be had.
and Linden - Little guy - Mr Chicken!

Thanks Marigold. You probably notice that they have had a new load of Bedmax down this morning as the old stuff was at least half feathers!

I'm not over sure Hen-Gen. A 'Sablepoot booted bantam'? I took him on at about 1 year old from Chickenfan. I think, if his foot feathers grew to full size they would be wider than he is long! Its never uncluttered and level enough in the run to let that happen so he has a regular trim at about 2 1/2" which he doesn't like but when back on the ground is like 'Oh!- OK that's pretty good. Look out girls, I'm on the move!'

Fabulous looking lot. Nice of them to stand still and pose, ours just keep moving if they see a camera

I know nothing about the breed so had to look them up. I certainly didn’t know they came in silver spangled. I thought Hamburg’s were the only breed to come in this colour. You live and learn!

:D I'll tell him how unusual he is - That'll be sure to give him some mojo before the spring!
