8 chicks and counting haved just hatched in my shiney new incubator - i was a little worried after the power cut the other day as the incubator was off for almost 2 hours, so glad there hatching

upto 10 now, there just a random assortment of hybrids from ebay - there wasnt much selection a month ago when i ordered them, but good enough for my first attempt. not a bad hatch rate out of 12 eggs plus i threw in 4 from my warrens and my pekin cockrel but wasnt expecting much - none from them yet though!

ive got a novital 24eco with autoturn

Isn't one of the greatest joys a successful hatch? - well done. Just over three weeks ago I hatched 6 out of 6 ebay eggs, from a bargain buy of 6 bantam Exchequer Leghorns, sent by Royal Snail Mail, I now reckon if one egg supplier can do it, a successful hatch is all purely down to the fertility and quality of the eggs alone.

Love the pictures especially last one where they sticking out they bums:)Looks like great mix of chicks:)Congratulation:)
I do agree with you Valerie eggs are fertile or not and to blaim always Royal 'snail'(i like that) is just easy.So many eggs are unfertile in the begining, had this year purchased 12 eggs from which only 2 eventually hatched,6 were unfertile the rest died along the way,for the hatch time only 4 left and 2 made it.
