Breeze Airways offers a flexible policy for changing flights that aims to make travel adjustments easier and more affordable for passengers. If you book a flight and need to change it within 24 hours, Breeze allows you to do so without charging any change fees, as long as your flight is scheduled to depart at least seven days from the time of booking. This means you can modify or cancel your reservation during this period without penalty, which is helpful if your plans are not yet final. However, if the new flight you choose costs more than your original ticket, you will need to pay the difference. If the new flight is cheaper, the difference is returned to you in the form of BreezePoints, which can be used for future bookings.

After the first 24 hours, the ability to change your flight depends on the type of fare you purchased. Breeze offers several fare options, mainly categorized as No Flex, Nice, and Nicer fares. The No Flex fare is the most basic and restrictive option. If you have this fare and want to change your flight after the initial 24-hour window, you will have to pay a change fee, which typically ranges from seventy-five to one hundred dollars depending on the route, plus any difference in the fare price. If you cancel a No Flex ticket, you generally will not receive a cash refund but may receive a travel credit if you cancel in advance. The travel credit can be used toward a future Breeze flight but is not refundable.

For Nice and Nicer fares, passengers have more flexibility. These fares allow free changes up to fifteen minutes before the flight’s scheduled departure. Like with the initial 24-hour window, if the new flight is more expensive, you must pay the price difference. If it is cheaper, the refund difference is given back as BreezePoints. This option provides passengers with greater freedom to adjust travel plans close to the flight date without worrying about fees.

In the case that Breeze Airways cancels your flight or significantly delays it by more than two hours, you are entitled to change your flight for free or receive a refund. To use this option, you need to rebook within seven days and keep the same departure and arrival airports as your original booking. This policy protects travelers when the airline causes disruptions.

To change your flight, Breeze makes the process simple and convenient. You can do it online by logging into the airline’s website and accessing your reservation through the “My Trips” section. You can also use the Breeze mobile app to manage bookings on your smartphone. Alternatively, if you prefer personal assistance, you can call Breeze’s customer service or visit a Breeze ticket counter at the airport. These multiple options ensure passengers can find a method that works best for them.

When it comes to refunds, the rules also depend on the fare type. For Nice and Nicer fares, cancellations may qualify for a full refund back to the original payment method. For No Flex fares, refunds are usually given in the form of travel credits rather than cash. Overall, Breeze Airways focuses on making flight changes and cancellations as straightforward and cost-effective as possible, especially with the no-fee window within 24 hours and free changes on higher fare classes. This approach offers travelers peace of mind and flexibility in adjusting their travel plans.
