I have great success with Poultry Shield. Have u tried it?
Other than that, you can have great fun early evening with a blow torch (RM come out to feed on the birds at night - just watch they don't get on you!!) Or some old recipe creosote (still avail at agric merch if u ask)
Keep the birds out of the house for a day or two and ventilate well.

I put two drops o cat strength Frontline near the vent area of all my hens at this time of year too - that way you have a double pronged approach for the little bu**ers!
Hope this helps

I find they are very hard to get rid of once you have them. I cleaned (with Poultry Shield) left a house for 6 months, removed the roof, torched the little blighters that were left and all cracks and crevaces and sprayed the inside of the house with a very evil looking house flea spray / insecticide that kills just about everything that moves....

6 months later (no chickens in there still) I removed the roof again to find new mites (grey, that hadn't had a feed).

It takes alot of effort to completely remove them all - I tend to just check regularly now and clean regularly with poultryshield - especially- during the summer months.
