Please help

Hi, ive got around 12 turkeys about 16weeks old, they have been so healthy till now, one as gone off its food and ive had to put in a cage because it just sits in the corner lifeless, now ive noticed another one !! any idea what it could be ??? regards...Andy.

I dont know anything about turkeys aand so cannot really help, but for those who can, can you post a bit more info so that thhy have mre of an ideaa what it could be.

I only kept some Norfolk Blacks once many years ago, so don't really know much about turkeys, but I was very aware of the fact that turkeys can get blackhead (think that is what it is called) from being kept on ground where chickens have been, so I kept mine over the far side of the garden which had never had other poultry on it.

You could try googling "turkeys + blackhead" and see if any useful info comes up

Probably does not apply to you, but one of my fifteen week old turkeys died a few days ago, seemingly without reason. However, at post mortem, she was found to have a small plum stone lodged in her windpipe.

can turkeys suffer from coccidiosis?
have you checked the poo?
