Well done for starting a Hybrid thread, I have had White Star, Black Rock, Light Sussex, Speckaldy, & Warren types and they have all been excellent/ easy to keep, and of course the added bonus of being cheap to buy and prolific layers makes them a winner in my books.... 
White Star/ Leghorn are my favourites character-wise, but they will also be the ones who escape most often.
Black Rock types are my second pet favourite, but a very close third & fourth are
The Light Sussex, perfect Ladies, well behaved and pretty-
And the Speckaldy has been the most friendly of all in my books....
Unfortunately last week a fox killed 12 of them, so I am after some more girls now........
Yes they are all wonderful birds!
