Just some more help on resizing and posting photos onto the forum, will be adding one around how to use photobucket later!

Hope it helps! :D

1. Find the photo you wish to load onto the forum in your "pictures" folder on your PC. Right click and the "open with" option will come up. Click on the "paint" option as in the photo :D

2. Next, in the "Paint" program click on "images"...( in the top bar..file, edit, images, tools, help..)

3. Click on the "horizontal" and "vertical" options to enable your photo to be resized. Choose 10% then "submit" If this is too small or too large you can go to edit and simply undo your changes! Once you are happy "save as " and choose a name for you file eg: swan resized.. ;)

4. Finally, loading your photo! Click on "upload attachment" when you are creating a post/reply. Choose "browse" to upload your resized photo. Click on your file then "add the file" to load onto the forum. Press preview to have a look, or "place in line" if you want to put the photo in a certain place in your post.
Finally, submit and hey :D presto!

I'm a bit of a Luddite when it comes to digital cameras and computers, but found putting the photos on here really easy. I just followed Tim's instructions in part 1, first resizing using Adobe Photoshop the doing the "New Post" and "Attachment" bit - no problem at all. Or was it beginner's luck?

Getting the photos off the camera and on to the computer, and then being able to find them was a different story!!

Cute ducks too :D

Foxy,
I have tried and tried to put photos on the forum, and cannot even get started! tried again just now with your very clear instructions and crossed fingers but no go.
Can't see Tim's instructions on the forum.
My granddaughters are coming round tomorrow, and of course may be able to do it with their eyes closed.
Will let you know how I get on.

The other option of course is to just upload the photos to Flickr, click the "share" button, copy the BBCode for a 500 pixel photo an paste it into here. The BBCode that Photobucket gives pastes a photo which is too large (this forum has a restriction for a maximum of 700 pixels on the longest side), but with Flickr you can say what side you want.
