You certainly are into poultry in a big way, Caradoc - what lovely pictures of a vey interesting and beautiful collection of birds.
How long have you been keeping poultry? It can't leave much time for doing other things!

Thank you! I've been keeping poultry since I was about 7, but I only had the Muscovy Ducks for a long time - The Campbells followed, and then I got interested in chickens. It's a hobby and it's good to be able to relax and take time off from studying and school work more than anything! It does get a bit time-consuming sometimes, especially in spring with chicks/ducklings popping out all over the place - but I manage! :)

Very nice cuckoo pekins you have there! Love the muscovy duck. I have lavender, b/w and one choc/white ancient muscovy duck! :D

Thanks foxy! The cuckoo pekins are one of my favourites too - but the most difficult of my breeds to prepare for showing, and to keep/maintain, due to the feathering on the feet. Muscovies are great too - it's them who started me out keeping poultry!

I particularly like Kevin Caradog. He looks just like Squeaky we had for a while in the UK, before rehoming him. Lovely little friendly chap who was thrown down our driveway from a passing car would you believe!

They are all really good looking birds but like Foxy I think the Muscovy is particularly nice.

Thank you very much :D - yes he is a nice fellow, and very protective of his wives, too! They're great little characters! It's a good job he landed with someone who was willing to take care of him then!

Thank you dinosaw! She turned up yesterday morning with 10 ducklings, as it happens!
