Here's to better times to come for everyone in 2021 x

I was home and quiet, just myself and the cats. Yesterday afternoon, I went to daughters. The only guest to celebrate my eldest grandson's 4th birthday! He was delighted, and just as excited as if he had had a huge party!

May I wish you all a 2021 that, like good cheese, improves with age! I was going to say "like wine", but I don't want it to take that long to start getting better!!!

Wishing a rewarding and fulfilling year to you all.
What gets me going are not new year resolutions, which last about 24 hours, but projects. I’ve gotta have projects. 2021 brings me, hopefully, Barred Splash chickens, Calico sheep but no calves this year. The cows are having a bit of a rest.

This photo is from HenGen, who asked me to resize it for him. He says he hopes the lovely cockerel will prove to be a good father to many descendants in the future!

Thanks Marigold.
He is both splash (two copies of the blue gene) and barred. This picture was taken last summer so he is the feature of this years breeding project hopefully to give many sons and daughters.

Nice looking bunch there Hen-Gen. Good luck with the breeding.
You found a good way of celebrating Tweetypie, glad it wasn't raining or blowing a gale
