This is the odd looking pheasant that I saw in my garden the other day. I'm hoping that BYM or another birding enthusiast out there might be able to identify it. Please excuse the appalling image quality but if I zoom in on my phone when taking the photo I can't crop off enough later to make the image small enough to upload ?
Any idea what breed this is? It has red legs & feet and the colour of its back reminded me of a collared dove. Its face, size & shape are definitely pheasant though.
