A quick(ish) way to post photos if you are using a Mac.
In photos select the image you want
Got to file, export and pick downloads as the destination.
Open the photo from the downloads icon at the bottom right of the screen, it will open in preview
On preview go to Tools
On tools select adjust size
Select custom and pick 800 x 600
Save photo
Then using the upload tool on the forum select your saved photo and upload and it should work fine.
