Not having hatched ducks for many years, I am picking up that chick crumb is OK for them as long as it has no coccidiostat - is this correct.
Any other feeds suitable for them in the early days/weeks ?

Hi,
You can get duck/waterfowl starter crumb or pellets, which are obviously specifically for waterfowl, having said that I have often had to feed unmedicated chick crumb to ducks and goslings, they seem to do just fine on it.

I have used chick crumb without ACS for my muscovy ducklings, they go onto growers at about 3 weeks. Muscovies grow like weeds and I have found mine to be very hardy, although they do seem to sit down a lot, they are always hatched under a muscovy duck.
