hiya im have a covatutto and it doesnt flash on and off "blink" it heats up to 37.5 , reading taken from 2 thermometers inside the incubator , It switches off when at 100.f and comes back on as it drops below , so its doing what it should stat wise but it is not flashing at all , it has been running for 3 days with a temp between 37.5-37.9 , im not sure wether to use it still or not bother as i know it is supposed to flash !!!! cheers

I can only see two possibilities here Jim. Either the heater is on all the time because it is quite small and the insulation is poor -which it doesn't sound like. Or the unit is no longer wired so that the light goes on and off with the heater and the instructions haven't been updated. But is it's working properly and you have checked the temperature it should be good to use. We got a very good hatch at 37.8 degrees, which is what our Spanish semi-auto came factory set at.
