Hello everyone.
A few weeks ago I posted about one of my chooks not ever having laid (as I thought at the time) Anyway, with a little insight & detective work its all a different story now & I'm concerned about a different one being the one not laying (hope you're still with me  ) So the story is..
I had 2 chooks as replacement girls for my 2 cockerels. These were already laying & pretty much the same age as the rest of my girlies. One of these new girls sadly went to the great chicken coup in the sky a few weeks ago (infected oviduct) & now I'm starting to worry about the other one. This one is definately the one not laying but I'm sure she used to. No obvious signs of illness but something seems amiss but can't put finger on it.
Apart from stress (don't think she's stressed) or illness is there anything else that can cause them not to lay/stop laying? Just so that I can rule it out.
Thanksxx
