I have moved this post to the General Chatter forum.

We do use Google Analytics to measure our visitor numbers and their country of origin. We are mainly a UK forum though and there are many forums that are far better / more local for the U.S. and Australia for example.

The trouble with these sort of things is they can cause lots of problems on the server - I am deliberately keeping the forum as close to the original software as possible so that we don't start having problems with the site. Also, you have to ask why this software is 'free'. Usually there are links or promotion tucked away on there somewhere.

@Bertie & the chooks - the moderators move several topics per day since it's easy to post something in the wrong area of the forum.
