Worried about foxes

I am due to have my henhouse and run delivered soon and my hens arrive a week later. Can the experienced members please tell me whether my hens will be safe from the fox if they are inside their wooden house and run. It is 19gauge weldmesh and good quality wood. The whole thing will be on a concrete base. I'm asking because my garden backs onto open farmland and foxes are regularly seen in the field outside the garden. There is a ditch and some trees at the bottom of the garden, but no fence. I won't be letting them free range unsupervised, they will always be in the run or house, but I am a little concerned that the fox could break into the house during the night.

your birds should be fine , if the run and house is on a concrete base then nothing will be able to get in from underneath what would be a good idea though is to toughen the outside with an extra wire mesh fence around the whole run including roof or if not then get some eletric fencing its pricy but worth it if it means your birds have added protection .

my wire mesh fence isnt buried into the ground like its meant to be as i could not dig down far enough so its double skirted all round the base with ethier slabs or motorway sleepers [ like railway ones just a bit smaller but still very very heavy } with weed membrane on top of the wire then wood bark to cover it as its used as a main path the roof is just fruit cage netting but i do have steel angled rods all round the top of the run which makes it well on 8 foot tall with wire threading all the way round { 3 or 4 strands in total } so if a fox or anything got up there they would become very tangled stuck and injured so i pray that never happens . i've mentioned before that i dont worry about the foxes but i do worry about the human thieves , my place is like fort knoxs :lol: :lol:
when i was building it considering this was my first time at doing anything like this all the way though i kept thinking blimey hell i could house a monkey in hhere and it would never get out hehehehhe that helped me a lot :lol: :lol: :lol:
