I've just had my entry form thru the post, so letting anyone interested in entering their birds for this particular show they are now accepting entries.
Entries close 23rd July 2011.
I won't be entering, I'm purely an "ooh" "ah", "oh my aren't you lovely" spectator at these events as I really am clueless as to good / bad and ugly!! :lol:
 
Got mine too - already run out of space on the form!!! we can pen our birds on Tuesday between 6 and 9pm - which is brilliant - a really good show - very well run, good prizes - lovely trophies (crystal) (I haven't managed to break mine------Yet) looks like I'm taking over 30 birds including the svart Hona who will be competing for the first time in this country :D looking forward to seeing what people think of them - brilliantly run by Janice Haughton Wallace - you ought to enter Aileen - there are classes for all birds - go On - you know you want to really :lol: :lol:
 
Anyone thinking of showing there Next year really should go- it was a very well run show. Every breed had its name put on the pen, so the public knew what they were looking at. I ended up taking only 18 birds including Svart Hona which i entered In the non standard class, it was the first Time they had been seen In this country, princess anne visited the poultry tent And the Championship row was one of the prettiest ive ever seen, with bouquets of flowers on the top of each pen with the Crystal trophy beside it. A really good show!!
