Firstly, hello chicken gang! Nice to meet you all, lets hope we can have a chat soon but for now I have a "burning issue" that I would very much ike advice on...
I have 6 birds - 3 pekin, 1 sussex, 1 cuckoo maran and 1 SSH.
The sussex and one of the bantams I have has since POL April 2010.... but am yet to receive an egg!! The SSH and Maran - bought Sept 2010 at POL - no eggs!
Pekin *2 - Bought Sept 2010 @ 6 weeks so still beautifil babies and understand they're still too young
I don't understand what I am doing wrong as latterly I have 4 hybrid birds for 2 years and they gave me eggs 5 days out of 7!!
One of my birds is a bit poorly (eye infection) which I have been treating sporadically for months now... could it have an underlying disease that me have passed onto my others? As to the naked eye they are all good strong (but barren!) birds.
