Hello folks, I was in the process of buying an incubator, and now I have 2 broodies! It's always the case, but I'm not going to complain! :D

I'm still interested in buying one. What is the most RELIABLE one out there. I don't want to spend no more than £130 on one. Fully automatic would be nice too.

Look forward to your comments.

What size i.e. how many eggs do you wan to set ?

Hi,
I bought an Octagon 20 Auto Eco - brilliant, - 10 weeks ago it hatched 15 out of 16 eggs; the eggs did not come through the post, but by a 5 mile car journey!! I think it was about £130, and local or your own eggs will probably make a difference as well. Today I discovered I have a broody hen as well, but one who will not be moved, the misery of the Pekin world, moan, moan, moan! Anyway, all the best but I recommend
Brinsea. Cheers, Valerie.

___ I have a Corti 24 with auto turner. Delighted with it, excellent results once I realised I had to ignore manufacturers instructions and terribly translated manual ! Now I run it dry all the way through. I also have one of those polyboxes+fan+lightbulb as on e bay for about £30 ,mine has broken bits of polystyrene ,inacurate humidity meter and thermometer BUT has given me some 100% hatches--just a pain to keep up all the turning. Best incubator by FAR-broody hen ! Ros ( The guy at the Incubator shop is worth ringing to chat to about your requirements, he is super helpful AND sorts out problems!) :-)08

I recommend brinsea, they have loads of choice, from the most manual to one that does practically everything by itself :D

Brinsea is also very good because they have the very best after sales service - if ever anything goes wrong they will mend it - they are always there for you in other words :-)17
