Where to buy hatching eggs?

Could anyone give me a few names of good suppliers of hatching eggs online? I have been looking on ebay but after browsing some other topics here, not so sure that is a good idea. Maybe someone could give me the names of some good reputable people on ebay, other websites etc?

It depends on what sort of chickens you are looking for, quite a few of the forum members here breed excellent stock! 17

In the Chickens for Sale or Wanted section there is a subsection called Hatching eggs for sale or wanted. cliuck on this and there is a sticky called 'EBay - the Good' where members have recommended good sellers. (there's also a section about those to avoid!)
Of course as you live in Scotland you may want to reduce the distance the eggs have to travel, so not use someone from the South however good. Or even find a local supplier where you can collect some.

First off, make up your mind what you are looking for. If you want them for laying, you'll need to search for people who breed good laying stock.
Even then, buying eggs is a virtual lottery as so many people are breeding and selling eggs who have neither the knowledge or the skill to be offering them to the public.
