Hi Everyone,

Haven't been here for a while, work got in the way

Santa has been asking me what I want in my Christmas stocking. I think a few more books on Chook keeping would be good as the ones I've got, I have 'outgrown' if you know what I mean, they were great at the beginning but mostly they're for a beginner.

The haynes manual was one of Tim's prizes earlier this year & was highly rated, would this be good or can anyone suggest anything else I should have?? (apart from a few more girlies :D )

I'm thinking of hatching a few chicks next spring, would something to do with incubating be good, what would I need? Suggestions please.

thanks everyone.

For me--a few of the new painted houses from F of F!--- And a large building to cover a couple of acres in the winter .---that will do thanks Mr S. Claus. For you and your inccy plans---- Katie Thears little book on incubating/brooding chicks, (sorry cant remember name at the mo) , an incubator (?) , a brooder set up of some sort, heat lamp/mats. Chick water containers/feeders. A bottle of Coxoid, ---Ros

Thanks Ros, quite a list!!

Anyone else got any suggestions or maybe no-one wants anything from Santa!!!!

Can I be greedy and have plan a and plan b :D :D

Plan A - I want Santa to transport my chooks and I to the Bahamas for the winter
Plan 2 - A winning Lottery Ticket so I can buy a few more acres and have more rescued hens :-)07
