What breed is this chick?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone shed some light on what breed this 7 week old white chick might be? I bought it as a day old chick on the understanding it was a pekin (clearly not, unless its a pekin cross!). Its clearly a cockerel (typical!). Would be interested in your comments.

I have a 7 week old the same as yours and mine was surpose to be a pekin too. Someone told me mine was a silkie. I think I must have a girl because she dont have any combs yet, like yours, but I don,t know. Your little man is so cute.

If it is a cockerel and you are unable to keep one have you thought about asking seller to exchange it as it isnt a pekin ? He is rather lovely though! Ros

I think it's a silkie cross. I have a silkie crossed with a Sussex that looks very similar. Are u sure it's a cockerel

I'm only assuming its a cockerel because it's got a really red comb and wattles and it got them after just a couple of weeks old. I would love to be wrong though!!!!!!!
