What breed are these?

Hi everyone
I have attached some photos of the chickens I hatched 16 weeks ago.
Can you identify them?
I am sure one is a cockerel, although not crowing, but making strange noises. Seems far too handsome to be a hen!
Thanks for your help
Moira

I have no idea on breed but oh my how bloomin lovely are they? Hope you find out x

Hello, they are a cock and a black hen- as for breed- look like pretty cross breeds- possibly some silkie/poland/houdan or sulmtaler in there - the hen should be a good broody.
regards, David :)

Hi, the cockrerel is really beautiful but no idea what breed, the other chicken looks like my black araucana that we hatched earlier this year, but Im no expert, good luck with finding out.

Thank you so much to everyone who responded so quickly. Interestingly, my friend who gave me the eggs has Polands, Silkies and Araucanas. I will wait for a blue egg, hopefully!! As for the Cockerel, I am not sure whether to keep him or not. I also hatched a Cuckoo Pekin Cockerel, two pekin hens and a seabright. All is calm at the moment (I have 3 older chickens, a silkie, dutch and a cross light sussex) I am worried that the two Cockerels will have crowing competitions. (Neighbours will not be happy) Harvey, the Pekin is crowing so well and in tune, I may enter him in The X Factor!!
Have attached a photo of Harvey!
Thanks again everyone. I am very impressed with this site!
