What are these??

Does anyone know what these are? This field is usually used for growing crops, but these appeared recently. They are made of metal. The top is dark green.

No idea, looks as though it is to contain something. Obviously not growing anything in as you say they have a lid on. Unless something is going to be put in it later, I note they are all equally spaced. never seen anything like it on the farmland around here, or anywhere else. Things for making crop circles maybe

I'll try to get a better photo, as they are quite a way from where I took it. They are semi circle in shape. Very odd. The mind boggles....

Just had someone on Facebook tell me they are pig shelters... was hoping they were for chickens so I could steal a couple

That seems likely if they are laying on their sides. Lots of pig shelters in Norfolk have green coloured backs and are made of metal. If thats the case, that will be one very muddy field soon. Do keep us posted
