What age is a cockerel (my Eddie) fertile?

Hi everyone, We hatched a Pekin cockerel (Eddie) four and a half months ago. He has grown into a very handsome mottled chap and is now as big as our hens. He is busy now doing what I suppose cockerels do best( :lol: :lol: :lol: ) but I wonder if at this early age whether he is fertile (or firing blanks !) :lol:
Also one of our hens seems to have gone broody which seems very strange especially as we have been having sub zero temperatures here

if he is doing what he should be doing he will be fertile now! i had a hen go broody last year on frozen eggs! some breeds are a bit kean! 07

Thanks, thats good to know-thought he might be just practising :lol: :lol: Mind you, I don't want chicks hatching at the moment so I will keep removing the eggs my mad chicken is sitting on!
