Wet Orpington

No more than most Landrover. Their fluffy feathers do get waterlogged more quickly but I have provided ours with shelters and if they prefer to get wet so be it! Have occasionallly blow dried the cockerels, which they enjoy.
 
I've no experience with them but what you picked up may have come from the show people because the feathers may get damaged or dirty when wet.

Chris has experience with them.
