This might sound a weird question, our speckledy who hasn't layed for a couple of weeks which did produce a lash last week. This evening she has a bit of a white watery poo and I noticed when she went to her perch she was having a little bit of a preen she kept lifting her tail and letting a bit dribble out of her vent then lap it up, she dose have bit of a swolen lump like she was getting ready to lay, apart from that she is eating and drinking normaly and seems ok. Is this a normal thing they do just that I haven't seen it before!

Sorry Flynnoflynn. This is a very late reply because it didn't show up on my unread posts search.

No it's not normal at all. It could be a broken egg inside her, an infection or it could be a rare case of 'vent gleet'. In the latter case the expelled fluid will smell very bad. I would have thought though, if she is actually drinking the fluid it is a broken egg, or a shelless egg. Hope she is OK now.
