hi so some nice person has dumped a goose at my front gate this isnt the first time it has happened but this goose has a broken wing iv had a look at him and there are maggots under the wind what can i do to help this little fellow until the vets tomorrow cheers john

Oh, the poor thing. I imagine the break and the wound under the wing are related 
The first thing will be to get fluids into the goose somehow and if you have a shed or stable to put the goose in.
Next where do you think the break is? That will need a vet to look at, depending where the break is it will probably need strapping. The maggots indicate a nasty infected wound, which will need cleaning out and a solution of Chlorhexidine (antiseptic) to clean the wound. Purple spray contains chlorohexidine if you have any of that handy. Sometimes depending on the wound, it may need syringing out with peroxide and packing.
The poor goose will likely need antibiotics for the wound. For now fluids and and somewhere for it to rest is probably all you can do for now.
