Urgent, baby mallard needed for single rescue.

Urgent help needed. Does anyone know of any rescued mallard ducklings? I have a single one that either needs a sibling or needs to join another orphan flock. I am in Dorset UK, can travel a couple of hours to deliver or collect. Thanks everyone!

You can keep them with domestic ducklings with no problems - so anyone who is near you who may have a couple of similar age birds would do or even someone who rears them for shoots might have a few spare. I know a few folk who have kept them as pets and they do tame fairly easily - think ducks at the park! - you can either leave their wings unclipped and give them the option of flying off when old enough or just keeping them as you would a normal duck.

hi, i have bantam chicks, ranging from day old, 3 weeks and 6 weeks. he may settle in with them as a last resort, i have kept them together before at brooder age. no ducklings at the moment though. Im in Bournemouth.
