Unwelcome as far as the ex batts and their boyfriend Count Orloffsky were concerned anyway. We went up tonight to lock up and found this beauty in the run, who knows what had gone on prior to this, whether he had fancied one of the Counts ladies and flown over I don't know. He was disorientated and couldn't find his way out of the main run and was starting to panic, the Count (who is about as soft a cockerel as I have had) was making half hearted moves towards the Peacock who I imagine would have seen him off easily enough. I considered shutting it in for the night as it was nearly dark but it was panicking so much that on balance decided it would be better to shepherd it out and let it take it's chances so hopefully it will find itself somewhere high enough to roost. Another free meal goes begging ;)

Some people do love to show off, don't they?!!
Still just have my very tame Mr and Mrs blackbird and the two pigeons from last year interested in my birds.

I'll swap you both my local wildlife for your internet speeds if you like. Downside of the sticks is I'm getting a whopping 1mb/s, yes you read that right 1mb/s. I bet there are villages in the Congo with faster internet than here.

He was gone in the morning, the Alpacas are in the other paddock otherwise he might not have landed. They chase rabbits, have now given up on squirrels as they know they can't catch them and are scared of the pony in the next field because they are a pair of wimps.
