two days old goslings!

Here are the latest arrivals!- mother looking very thin after a very hot spell during incubation- she will put the weight back on - now she is on the grass!





and one of my first of the season- 10 weeks old now!

Hi David,
Those goslings are gorgeous, but then geese are my fav birds.
The 10 week old is impressive, I imagined that because toulouse are supposed to be slow to mature fully, the youngsters would take ages to look like a proper goose, obviously I was wrong :roll:

Hi, well they take up to 3 years to become fully mature- he/she hasn't got a dewlap or much of a keel yet but he/she is very big for 10 weeks

How beautiful are those! I had no idea goslings were so BIG at 10weeks old!
