im trying to hatch some eggs and in the first couple of days i saw veins when i candled the eggs ..im on day 15 what should i see and when you see veins does that mean they are fertile and going to hatch??

ok so 14 out of 22 eggs have hatched, White leghorn hen and black copper marans rooster...any idea what these little guys will look like..

hi, you should only need to candle the eggs once or twice at the most- candling them too often can damage the embryo. most people candle at around 7 days then at day 18 ( when you stop turning and up humidity)
At 15 days you should be able to see the chick moving in the egg.
Veins do not always mean the eggs will hatch- sometimes they die at different stages during incubation. I would resist the temptation to candle too often and wait and see if anything hatches.
regards, David :)
